Review Process
At the African Journal of Environmental Health Sciences (AJEHS), we uphold a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the research we publish. Our review process comprises three key stages:
Internal Review: Initially, manuscripts are assessed for adherence to our formatting and style guidelines. This stage ensures that submissions meet our basic requirements before proceeding to external review.
External Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the internal review are then evaluated by experts in the field. These external reviewers provide detailed feedback and assess the validity, significance, and originality of the research.
Final Internal Review: Articles that succeed in the external review are subjected to a final internal review. This final stage ensures that all reviewer feedback has been addressed and that the manuscript meets the journal’s standards for publication.
This thorough process is designed to maintain high publication standards and advance research in environmental health sciences.
